Introduced in 2002 as the sportswear brand's official skate subdivision with an appreciation for both skateboarding and street culture, Nike SB is a brand that combines creativity with an appreciation for custom colourways, colour-block shades and college team references. Launched in 2019 with its #supportyourlocalskateshop tagline and releases from the likes of Leo Baker, Oskar Rozenberg and Kevin Bradley, Nike SB’s on-going Orange Label initiative gives back to the skate shops and communities that have inspired generations of skaters with exclusive releases. At the heart of Nike SB lies the Nike SB Dunk, a skate-revised tribute to the OG Dunk that made its debut in 1985. Notable Nike Dunk releases include Jeff Staple’s ‘Panda Pigeon’, Concept’s Red Lobster Dunk Low from 2008 and the Ben & Jerry Chunky Dunky Nike SB Dunk Low, whilst other stand-out releases include the Nike SB x Parra Dunk Low, the Strangelove Dunk Low designed by artist Sean Cliver and the ‘What the P-Rod’ Dunk Low from 2021. 


Skate shop collaborations include the Crenshaw Skate Club Dunk Low, the froSkate Dunk High Pro and the Crushed DC Dunk Low Pro, whilst Oski’s signature shark themed Dunks are joined by the recent commemorative Dunk Low Pro for Tokyo-based skater Yuto Horigome. Nike SB’s growing team includes the likes of Sky Brown, Sean Malto, Hayley Wilson and Elissa Steamer, with memorable video edits including QuickStrike, Japan Diary and their Not Here By Luck series.
